Our Approach

Design, Defined by Craft

We approach spaces from the inside out. Cabinetry establishes structure, proportion, and rhythm—everything else is built around it.

Our work begins with precise layouts, thoughtful material selection, and clear specifications that allow projects to move forward with confidence.

From kitchens and built-ins to surfaces and flooring, we focus on elements that must be right—because they shape how a space functions, installs, and lasts.

Process

How Do We Work?

Here’s a quick look at how we bring your space to life

1: Measurement & Project Intake

We Begin with on-site or plan-based measurements and a clear review of scope, use case, and constraints. This ensures layouts, pricing, and specifications are accurate from the start.

2: Layouts, Specifications & Pricing

We develop cabinet layouts, elevations, and material specifications aligned with project intent. Renderings and drawings are used strictly to support pricing, approvals, and coordination.

3: Manufacturing Coordination & Installation

Once approved, we coordinate production, logistics, and installation to ensure systems are delivered and installed accurately, on schedule, and to spec.

How Do We Work?

Here’s a quick look at how we bring your space to life

1: Discovery & Consultation

We start with a one-on-one conversation to understand your style, needs, and goals for the space. This helps us align on vision and budget before moving forward.

2: Design & Planning

Next, we create a custom design plan — complete with mood boards, color palettes, layouts, and material selections — so you can visualize every detail before implementation.

3: Execution & Styling

Once the design is approved, we bring it all to life. From coordinating with contractors to adding the final decorative touches, we handle it all to ensure a stunning result.

FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does the full process take?

It depends on project size and quickly decisions are made.

Initial site measurement:
Scheduled with ~3 days’ notice. On-site measurement takes approximately 1 hour.

Design & pricing:
5–7 business days after initial measurements are completed.

Production:
Small projects: ~3 weeks Larger projects: 4–5 weeks

Installation:
Scheduled once cabinetry arrives.

Countertops (if applicable):
1–2 weeks after cabinet installation.

Timelines may extend if site access, approvals, material selections, or appliance are delayed.

What happens after the consultation or showroom visit?

After the consultation or showroom visit, the next step is scheduling an initial site measurement.

Measurements are required before design, pricing, and production timelines can be finalized. Measurement access is typically scheduled with a few days’ notice and takes approximately one hour on site.

Why is a measurement required before final pricing?

All cabinetry, closets, and built-ins are dimension-specific. Verified site measurements allow us to create accurate layouts, pricing, and production timelines. Without measurements, final pricing and fabrication cannot be confirmed.

What does “Design & Pricing” include?

Design & pricing includes cabinet layouts, specifications, finish coordination, and pricing prepared from verified measurements. It does not include full-service interior design.

What commonly causes delays?

Delays typically occur when measurements, approvals, or material selections are postponed.

Do we offer interior design services?

No. Any design support we provide is strictly to specify and execute our cabinetry, surfaces, solid wood flooring and built-in systems.

Do you deliver and install outside of DFW?

We deliver nationwide. Installation is currently available within the DFW area only.

When are countertops installed?

Cabinets are installed first. Countertops are then templated, fabricated, and installed, typically 1–2 weeks later.
